How we work

We'll show you how your systems should connect. And what you don't need to buy.

Most agencies sell you activity. We work the other way around: you walk away owning the plan for your whole system, even if you never hire us to build it.

Why work this way?

Most people come to us about to spend money on software they only half understand. A new CRM, an automation tool, three platforms someone said they needed. The question underneath is always the same: how is this meant to fit together, and do I even need all of it.

We answer that question first, and we give you the answer to keep. Everything else about how we work follows from that. It comes down to four principles.

The four principles.

How does an engagement actually run?

Three stages, and you can stop after any of them.

Stage 1

The free consult

About half an hour on how your business runs today and where the obvious gaps are. No cost, no pressure, and no pitch deck.

If the honest answer is that you don't need us, that's what you'll hear.

Stage 2

The systems map

Working sessions that go through your business the way it actually runs. Where leads come from, what happens from first contact to paid invoice, what each tool is for and whether it's doing it.

You end up holding the whole architecture, written for you, not for us. It's yours to keep either way.

Stage 3

Build what's worth building

If you want the map built, the person who drew it builds it. Start with the piece that pays for itself first and add the rest when you're ready.

At handover you own the lot, with the documentation to run it yourself.

Start with the free consult.

Half an hour on how your business runs and where it leaks. You'll leave knowing your next move, whether or not it involves us.

Common questions.

What happens in the free consult?

About half an hour on how your business actually runs. Where leads come from, what happens to them, what you're paying for and whether it's doing anything. You'll leave knowing where the obvious gaps are, whether or not anything follows.

Do I keep the plan if I never hire you to build it?

Yes. The systems map is written for you, not for us. Hand it to another developer, action it yourself, or sit on it for a year. It doesn't expire when you stop paying and it doesn't live behind a login on our servers.

Will you actually tell me not to buy something?

All the time, usually in the first conversation. If the honest answer is that you don't need the thing, we'd rather say so and earn the trust than sell it and lose it. There's a whole page of examples.

Who does the work, and do I get handed to a junior?

One senior person stays on your project the whole way. The person who maps your system is the person who builds it. No handoff down a chain.

What do I own at the end?

Everything. The plan, the build, the accounts, the documentation. You pay your software vendors directly and you can take any of it in-house whenever you want. There's no lock-in at any step.
